  •  Eric K. Yamamoto, Margaret Chon, Carol L. Izumi, Jerry Kang, and Frank H. Wu have have published a second edition of Race, Rights, and Reparation: Law and the Japanese American Internment, which critically examines “the legal, social, and ethical ramifications of the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II; and the successful reparations movement of the 1980s.”  This edition substantially revises the original.  For example, “several new chapters expressly link the Japanese-American internment cases and redress to the civil liberties and national security issues raised post-9/11.”
Weekend Roundup is a weekly feature compiled by all the Legal History bloggers.
